Suffering - Gregory David Roberts

- Suffering is a matter of choice; we don’t have to suffer in life, if we are strong enough to deny it.
- Suffering is a sign of loss of control.
- Suffering is a human weakness.
- Suffering is our strength source.
- Suffering is a mark of how much we have been hurt by the process of realization.
- Suffering is a kind of anger.
- Suffering is the truth.
- Suffering is the sharp end of the whip and not the blunt end – the end that the master holds in his hand.
- Suffering comes from the same place where love and freedom and pride are born
- The burden of happiness can only be relieved by balm of suffering.
- Suffering is the result of our sin and wrong doing.
- Pain and suffering are connected, but they are not the same. Pain and suffering can have independent existence.
- Suffering is happiness, backwards.
-Suffering is the hungry, no hunger – no suffering.
